TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the use of services provided by Happy Cat Cat Sitting Service (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 

We provide care with:

• Over 20 years’ experience of owning and/or working with cats.
• Enhanced DBS police check and independent liability insurance.
• Completed First Aid course for kittens and cats.

•  We cover areas within a 4-mile radius of Egham, including:
  Staines, Englefield Green, Virginia Water, Sunningdale, and Old Windsor. 

We offer peace of mind that everything will be thoroughly taken care of while you are away. Services include:

• Feeding, cleaning of food area and bowls, and water replenishment.
• Cleaning litter trays (deep cleaning as per instructions).
• Playtime, grooming, and cuddles.
• Administering basic medicine (tablet only).
• Daily updates via WhatsApp, text, or email, including pictures and videos.
• House care extras on request: open/close curtains, water plants, put bins out, set alarms.
   

Visit times: 6:30am – 9:30am and 4:00pm – 7:00pm.

•  14 for 1 visit per day.
• £22 for 2 visits per day.
• Average visit length: 30 minutes.
• Additional cats (3+) may incur extra charges, agreed at booking.
• Peak fees: +15% during school holidays, +50% during bank holiday weekends.
• Vet visits: £20 fixed fee (in addition to daily visit charges).
   

All fees are quoted in advance and must be paid as per section 7.

• A free meet & greet is required before a booking is confirmed. This allows us to discuss your cat’s needs and ensure suitability. 
• Once confirmed, you will receive an invoice and booking confirmation by email.
• Payment is due no later than 7 days before the booking start date.

•  Cancel 7+ days before booking start date = full refund.
• Cancel 2–6 days before = 50% refund.
• Cancel within 48 hours of booking start date or once commenced = no refund.

• You must provide access details (keys, codes, alarms) and clear instructions for your cat’s care.
• Inform us of any known health issues, allergies, hazards, or medication needs.
• Ensure vaccinations and preventative treatments (fleas/worms) are up to date.

 We are insured and DBS checked, but cannot accept liability for:

• Illness, injury, or death resulting from pre-existing conditions or natural causes.
• Minor accidents or scratches where reasonable care has been taken

You remain responsible for all veterinary fees incurred during our care.
